quick q: shortcut to webpage in quicklaunch - how to open in new window?

I put a shortcut to a webpage in my quicklaunch section, so I can just click on it and go to a webpage. The problem is, if I have an existing IE window open it will open it in that instead. I want it to always open in a new window. Is there a way I can do that?
 
Create a new shortcut to internet explorer, then edit the shortcot and past the URL that you want it to open to after the iexplore.exe on the target line. You may have to suround the URL with quotes.
 
also, you can open IE and go to
tools > options > advanced > (uncheck) reuse window for launching shortcut
 
Thanks, I like stndn's method better. 🙂 This way it still keeps the official icon for the site in the shortcut.
