quick q: can u dual boot WinME Fat32 and WinXP NTFS on same drive?

Yes, you can do it.

Each partition can be a different file system.

k, but i guess implied part of the question would be are there any draw backs? do i have to install all programs twice for each file system? (i know i have to install twice for dual boot anyway, for registry purposes and such, but u install it over the same directory so u arent using double the space )

Yes, you will be running a lousy 9x based OS. All you need is XP.

WinME cannot read ntfs partitions, so anything you want to be accessible from both winme and winxp will have to be on the fat32 partition.
