Quick power supply question

My friend has an Enlight case that came with a 300w power supply. He currently runs a p3-866. I am going to upgrade him to a p4 2.4 HT cpu. Do P4 motherboards require any extra connectors or are the connectors different that a power supply that was built before p4's came out?

I'm hoping that he doesn't have to buy a new ps.

They require a 4 prong connector on top of the normal one. He has to have a P4 compatible PSU.

You can get an adapter to use an older PSU with P4 mobo. It uses a drive connector to supply the extra 12V.
. Newegg has it under I-Star and SVC has it at the best price: $3.00 shipped first class mail w/o insurance. Unless you can find it locally.
