Quick Poll: Ie7 or Mozilla?

sure this is from the stone age... but I am really having a problem picking one and sticking with it.

so which browser do you guys prefer and why?

personally, I like the layout of Ie7 better. However the I enjoy the stability of mozilla. I am really torn.

I want to pick one and stick with it. So which one should I pick and why? And do you guys have both on your computer and if so, why keep both?

thanks,
Mario

I use over a half dozen browsers. None are quite good enough.

Safari
Firefox
Seamonkey
IE6
IE7
lynx
links
konqueror

mozilla/firefox - uniform interface across platform. Occasionally i'll use ie when some website has an ie only check.

I use Firefox for the extensions. One of my extensions is IE Tab for pages that only display correctly with IE.

i've tried using firefox a few times but there just a bunch of little things that annoy me and make it not so easy to use for me.

IE7 pretty much does everything I need and I have no problems with it.

I use mozilla firefox with "IE Tab" and "IE VIEW" extensions in firefox. With a click I can change which program is opening a webpage in firefox (ie some webpages that break in firefox, or work knowledge base that runs better in IE)

I use Firefox since I picked it up for tab browsing long ago. I know IE has it now, and that opera is 'better' but at the time opera wasn't free, and IE didn't have it, and I've just gotten used to using firefox.

I have both IE7 and FF 2. I have them configured so that both have essentially the same GUI and appearance. FF used to be faster, but now I find IE7 has closed the gap, and for me, it is more intuitive, especially after modding the toolbars.

The "Links" interface is better for me in IE7. Online purchasing on some sites is better with FF.

BTW - where's your poll?

I have ie7, firefox, and seamonkey. I pretty well only use ie7 for windows updates. ie7 is decent but its still less secure than either firefox or seamonkey. For me, the security question is paramount.

But speaking of security---some websites with on line virus scans only work using internet explorer, so its still a necessary evil.

FireFox

Only reason for me to keep IE close by is for all the websites that still haven't been fixed to play nice with browsers other than IE. Extensions make FireFox the clear winner for me.

Firefox because I love my Stumbleupon 🙂 plus some of the other extensions.

I use IE7 for Windows Update only.

PS: where is the poll?

I prefer Firefox 2 so far .. while some of the toolbars can be put whereever you want to
on IE7 (even using some simple reg mods) you still can't put each and every item on the
toolbar exactly where you want it to be .. IE7 is getting better, but not perfect yet

I prefer IE7. I see no one's mentioned easy enterprise manageability as one of its strong points yet. 😀
