I recently got a Casio EM-500 pocket pc and I was wondering, do I have to buy MMC memory cards made by Casio for it? Or, could I just buy a Crucial memory card off Newegg?

Any brand of memory card will work, as long as it's the right format (CompactFlash, SD, MemoryStick)
Enjoy the new toy. :)

Yup but don't forget you don't need to buy MMC, you could also get a SD card. They are almost identical cards but SD tend to be cheaper.

Thanks guys. :D I have one more question, how big of a memory card can the EM-500 hold?

Avoid Sandisk though. They have a bad batch of SD cards right now. That is why you see them selling for really low prices. I had a defective one and so did alot of others on the PDA sites.

Other way around. The MMC slot can't take SD because SD cards are a tad bigger. But SD slots can take MMC and SD.

BTW how much was the EM-500? Haven't seen 'em for ages.
