Quick Photoshop question

If I have a *.psd file from Version 6.0 will it work with 5.5?

i would say it does, unless you used some 6.0 specific features.

What are some of those features?
See i got this project for school, Its a digital photography class. I slacked off and didnt finish it in class, so i took it home. But i have 6.0 and they have 5.5... I have to be able to do some more editing and what not over there.

i dont think it will...im sure 5.5 can work in 6, but i dont know the other way around. depends on which options you check when you save in 6.0

yes, or no, maxdsp is correct it will load in PS 5.5, however there are certain things that you can do in PS 6 that 5.5 will not load (I believe it will just discard the data) such as vector-based graphics because PS 5.5 is before they rebuilt PS to handle vector graphics.

Alternatly you should be able to save it as an EPS, I'm not 100% sure because I dont have 5.5 here at home (I have both 5.5 and 6 at work) but I think PS 5.5 will open an EPS
