Quick PayPal question regarding P.O. Boxes

This is my first time dealing with any transaction over $60 on ebay/Paypal. I had an auction finish for $510. The guy who won had zero feedback and was a new user on ebay. Okay, everyone has to start somewhere. He emails me promptly with some questions about the auction. I tell him that he has to become a verified member on Paypal before I will accept any payments. He sends me a CC payment with a confirmed address. The only problem is it's a P.O. Box. Isn't this bad?

I already accepted his payment and transfered the money to my account before I realized that he wasn't verified...he just had a confirmed address. Is this safe enough? His email address is an sbcglobal.net account....so at least it's not freemail. Unless he's getting free stolen email he wouldn't be able to fake this email address, would he? I don't really get any "fraud" vibes from him, but does this sound fishy to anyone? Confirmed means that it is the address on file with his CC so isn't that good enough? Oh, and also, the auction was for Tickets to a concert. All these things just seem to traceable to me for someone who wanted to commit fraud. Tickets are traceable (go see who's sitting in the seats), email address is traceable, CC address is traceable.

What do you guys think?

what if you make him have to sign for the pckage? I mean... he has to go to the post office anyway... it would be worth it to me to splurge for the extra $$$ to make hi sign for it.

I would get some kind of confirmation of delivery, but wouldn't worry about the PO Box too much. I live in a pretty remote area, with just general delivery to a PO Box available. My confirmed address is a PO Box.
