I just got my RMAed 80gig drive and I wanna partition it up...
~60 for music (fat32 so can be read in other oses)
~5 windowsxp/programs (ntfs)
~5 programs that don't need to be reinstalled when reinstalling windows (winamp/mirc/unrealtounrament/quake3) (ntfs)
~4 linux
~2 bsd
Since the outside of the drive is faster than the inside, i might as well put windows near the outside and music on the inside
I was gonna use partiton it with the winxp install.... linux/bsd i'd just make a fat32 partiton to hold the spot till i installed them.
Anyways question is when you do add partiton for the first time does it put them the farthest out it can? or closest to teh center?
should I add the music partiton first or the windows?
