QUICK! need reasons why PCs are better than macs

If you are really into games, PC is the way to go! There seems to be more of a variety of games out there for PC than Mac, haven't checked in a while though.

If you can afford to upgrade your PC from time to time and use carry over parts, hard drive, mother board, memory, etc. the PC is the way to go. I never heard of anyone building a Mac from scrap.

Stability shouldn't be an issue any more, WinXp, Win200, are very stable OS's and as stable as OSX from what I heard.

Apple has the advantage in graphics intensive stuff. The Navy uses both Apple and PC's. The ordinary stuff is done on PC's while the photography and vieo stuff is done almost exclusively on Apple (these are very high end systems, i.e. $10K)

<< You don't get laughed at for being a PC user (sorry, couldn't resist). >>

LOL, so true.

COST! My friends needs a burner for his Mac and he's looking at a $300 expense for an external drive and a FireWire card. Pathetic!

at least TWO mouse buttons with a pc

i need to right click, my hand doesn't feel right on a mac mouse with that one button

I cant remember how many 'but you only need one button' arguments I have had

The only reason for macs to exist is for Serious video editing, anyone who uses a mac for any reason other than this should be shot.😀

I use a two button mouse with my Mac, but it's surprising how well the one-button mouse works since the software is written with one-button in mind. However, for games, 2-buttons all the way. Mind you, that's irrelevant, since Macs suck at most games.

By the way, my Mac gots a lot more 2nd looks from the gals in one month than my PC laptop ever did in one year. 😉

Macs - SDRAM

Rambus is suck. Well, at least the company is.
