Quick.. need opinions. $400 to spend on a vacuum

I have a dyson ball. I can't say it impresses me with ruggedness. Does a nice job of cleaning, but gets clogged relatively easily. EDIT: It has a pretty short cord too.

Numatic brand vacuums are awesome.

I have dropped one off a construction site and it lived.
I have filled one with water and it lived.
I have used one as a trolley and moved 120kgs. it lived.

This vacuum cleaner is still in use 4 years later.

I got a Dyson 14 for $250 refurb from Best Buy and it was pretty good but it wasnt like "OMG THIS IS A GIFT FROM GOD" though.
