Quick Modem and Cable Question.

Hey guys, can an external modem be connected to your parallel port (and work)?

Also, can someone describe what the male end of a cable looks like and what the female cable end looks like (or point me to a pic).

Nope, serial only.


Male end is with pins and female end is with holes. Logical, isn't it?
