i want to upgrade to xp athlon and ddr ram...what mobo should I get? I was looking at the epox 8kha+ does that run xp athlons and ddr ram? if not what's a good mobo for around 50-60bucks...
 
yeah, that mobo will run XP and DDR, and its quality, but I'm not sure if you can get anything like that for around $50-$60...
 
The ECS K7S5a is a stellar mobo for 52+ship, and supports DDR + Athlon XP. Do a search for it in the motherboard forum. You will find some unhappy owners, but there is a large user base that is satisfied.
 
If you don't care about overclocking, then I second the ECS K7S5A. Yeah, yeah, some people have had problems with it but the vast majority proclaim it to be and excellent, stable board, including myself.
