Quick linux question: Creating a swapfile partition? (127 MB max?)

This is in OS as well, but I want a quick reply...

I remember when I installed RehHat 5.5 a long time ago, I needed to create a swap partition that could not be bigger than 127 MB. Is this still the case? Do I even need to create a separate swap partition still?

Oh come on, if you have 2GB of RAM you NEED 2GB of Virtual Memory :)

i only need 4GB of swap cause linux and the sh!tty open source tools keep running out of memory cause they dont free anything until the process ends. stupid bastard open source software.
