Hello everyone. Quick question. Running XP Pro with two gigs on RAM. For awhile, my Quick Launch tool bar takes a few seconds to display all of the icons. I had recently formatted my machine and the problem is still occuring.
Running XP Pro/SP3 (up to date) with 10 Q/L icons displayed. They always are in place before those of the system notification area (formerly known as "the tray." What is the problem? A few seconds is very normal.

I can tell that it's not normal. I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem. I did a few searches and people are complaining, but I don't see any answers.
What other programs do you have at startup that could slow this down? I know some antivirus programs can take high priority when logging in and that can slow things down.
