Quick iTunes question.

I have an album that consists of 17 songs from 17 different artists, when I play the CD in my car which has a pretty modern stereo system in it, when a song is playing it lists the name of the album, song and artist.

Is it possible to set up iTunes to list a different artist for each song on an album in iTunes so I see which artist did each song when I am listening to music on my car's stereo or am I forced to add the artist name onto the song title in iTunes?

BTW as is, iTunes lists the 'album name', 'song name' and it says 'various artists' where the artist is listed.

Select the song, and right click. Then choose 'Get Info'*, in theory you can take it from there.

*It may be 'edit', or something along those lines, I don't have my Mac with me right now.

If you right click on a song, or multiple songs, and select Get Info, there are two different artist fields. You'll want to put Various Artists in the Album Artist field, so iTunes knows it's all the same album. You can then put the artist of the song into the Artist field.
