Quick install help! Asus P4G8X deluxe SATA controller...

So,

I am installing an Asus P4G8X Deluxe board w. Silicon Image 3112A SATA controller. I have 1x Maxtor 9+ SATA drive, DVD-RW drive and XP Pro disc.

Does the SATA controller support JBOD, as I cannot make it boot with just 1 drive installed. I get through POST, but then it just says "press any key to reboot"? If I remove the drive, I get to XP Install but... no use without the HDD installed!


PLS HELP ASAP!
