I refuse to subscribe. AT already makes money from advertising and manufacturers, and NOW they want to make even MORE money from me subscribing? Now, I do realize its expensive to host a site, especially as one as big as this, but still.....How greedy can one be?

I kinda felt that way. But in my 2+ years here, I never clicked on a banner or bought anything that would benefit AT directly. I find those AT bump to the top ads in the hot deals section kinda annoying as well.

I don't have a problem with the banners really, just the flashing one. I think if at all possible the ads should be Tech related like they always have been (well besides the Ad Council stuff, which is ok) just not that evil Scam Spam .. something legitimate .. just my thoughts ..

And as far as the spasmatic banner, if it's an animated GIF, you can just hit ESC and it will stop the flashing. Doesn't work on flash animated ads though.
