Quick illustrator question

Somehow I clicked something so that I cant click on objects and resize them. Normall you can click on objects and then move the handles around to transform them. Now all I can do is move the objects around the page. What did I hit on the keyboard to goof this up and how do I get my old transform way back?
 
You locked the layer. Go to the layers pallette and click on the lock next to the layer you're working on to unlock it.
