After dealing with several hole-in-the-wall registrars, I've decided it's worth the $35/yr to pay for register.com or networksolutions.com. Trying to get records updated or other service can be a nightmare at some of those cheap places. They're cheap for a reason, they don't hire any customer service people that understand DNS. :|
