quick..how to send messages on LAN in NT

i know in win98 its winpopup or something like that.. whats the name of it in NT?

It's: net send

ex) net send /domain:name_of_pc "Hi. How are you?"

Depending on what version of nt you are talking about I think net send is the only option that is automatically there, maybe mschat or something but that might have to be installed.

yeah, or if on the LAN the computers name is 01
then go:

Start>Run>command>net send 01 blah blah blah

if you're on NT 4.0, i think you have to start some kinda service before you can use NET SEND - not sure tho
