Quick, how to get a beer cap off without a beer cap remover.

I just thought they all screwed off. Got some Shiner BOCK trying something new, and realized I have no earthly idea where my beer cap remover is. This has a 'real' cap on it. . . I've tried a fork which was a disaster. . .

Ok, I finally unscrewed it by hand. . .

shhhewww. . . .

(so I'm not a big drinker. . .)

rent the place countertops were out.

You thought that they all screwed off? Maybe all wine coolers, sure.

Keys, butter knives, key rings, belt buckles, any hard surface with a sharp corner, another beer bottle...this is when being an engineer is useful.

Or just a big drinker 😛

Noob. Put the underside of the cap edge against a hard surface and hit the top of the bottle. If you're a real redneck, you'll do this on your coffee table.

I am sorry but from now on you can only drink drinks that come in glasses and have fruit and umbrelas in them!

How about this... Smash the top of the bottle against something so it breaks off. You'll either have success or a bloody hand! 😀

Bite the top of the bottle, poor into a pint glass when staring at your friends as you spit out the glass

Sit on the couch the new alpha male

Hahaha, you rent so you can't use a counter top? Of all the places I've rented they'd never notice a tiny mark on a counter top edge.

I use a lighter but I kinda suck at it.

shiner is all screw top. i see you found that out.

you know, you can tell that it's a screw top by looking at the cap. the screw threads are actually visible in the stamping.

Think I finally discovered a beer I like too. . .

Shiner Bock is fantastic. In fact, you inspired me to get one from my fridge now 😛

You can do it with a piece of paper, plenty of videos on youtube or metacafe about how to do it.
