I've just changed over my NT4 BDC server to W2K member server and am setting up DHCP, kept all the scope entries the same but I have some probs with win98 boxes
Connecting by DHCP. I 've got a couple that will, a win98 box and a win 95 box and all my W2K workstations seems to be fine but most don't even give them option of going into the domain login screen and I've run winipcfg which comes back as pretty much useless. Since most of my boxes are w98 this is a prob and I'm in on my day off to try and fix it. If I have to I'll go back to static IP but lets see what we can do first
I loaded the latest drivers for the Intel NIC but I have 3Com 905's that won't connect either.
I've checked to see if it was the difference between connecting into the 24 port hub or the 24 port switch, doesn't seem to make a difference.
So what am I missing ??
