Quick, Help! retriving past Clipboard item

Is there a way to retrieve past items in your clip board? I cut out a huge section of code to start debugging out my project and the program crashed. I opened it back up and all that was left was the uncut portion. I checked the back up and all it has is the uncut portion too. Dunno how that happened. I even checked MS word multi clipboard and it only has the last cut. If your wondering, I'm programing a processor in verilog using xylinx foundation 2.1i HDL editor. HELP! I want to sleep tonite. Thanks.

Sorry to tell you this, but once the clipboard's cleared, whatever was on it is gone for good. Now if you have a program like GoBack or one of the newer Win versions that lets you take the system back to before the crash happened, that might restore your clipbard contents. But if you're using Win98 or older, nothing can bring it back. If you have something in the clipboard that's really that important to you, you can save it as a CLP file.
