I just got my GF2pro today and I getting ready to install it. I just wanted to kinda go over the steps that should be taken. Currently I have a GF2mx installed. Here are the steps that I would take to remove it and install the new card. Uninstall the driver for the current card through add remove programs (DXP) and change the adapter back to standard vga graphics adapter in the display properties. Shut down the pc and go through the motions of removing the old card and installing the new card etc. Pretty standard stuff I know but is it possible to leave the driver intalled since its a unified driver architecture? Or does the it make adjustments depending on which card you have (the driver that is). I'm using windows 2000 and I heard there is a refresh rate problem (old news I know) but I have never experienced a problem as far as I know due to this limitation. How do I fix this though incase it becomes a problem? Thats about it, thanks for any help.
One more thing, I am dual booting with win98se. Do I need to take the steps of removing on both os's even if I don't plan on using win98 anytime soon?
