Sorry about posting on the wrong forum but Software gets no traffic and I need a quick answer...

I only have one CD drive which is the burner and I have the latest Nero.

Unfortunately, I can't back up this application CD on-the-fly because I don't have Two drives.. How can I go about burning a image with single burning drive?

Do I need to create an image first then eject and insert the blank disc and burn the image on my HD? Does Nero do that?

That's how you have to do it. To create a CD Image in Nero, go to recorder > choose recorder, and choose Image Recorder. Then go through the CD copy dialog, and when you go to burn, it will ask you where you want to save the image. Once it is done, go to file > burn image, and burn the image.

CloneCD works best for copying CDs..easy to use program too.
