Quick Hardware RAID-1 w/ failed drive question

Compag DL380 G3 with 5i controller (2) 36.4 SCSI's in a hardware RAID-1 mirror. Drives are in slot 0 and 1. Drive in slot 1 has failed. Can I just straight replace the failed drive with a new same size/model replacement drive or do I need to do something in the ACU?

I've done software mirrors where you break the mirror, replace the drive, re-establish the mirror but dern if I've ever needed to do it in a hardware mode. Probably just being overly cautious but I don't wanna hose the machine. TIA!

Welp, I just gave up and went for it! And.....The answer is.....YES!!!! You just straight replace it and it rebuilds. Oh well, I guess experience is its own best teacher. Thanks anyway.
