Quick GPS Question

Just as the topic states:

Is the cable that comes with these GPS units a "regular" USB device cable? Like for instance if I someone has a Garmin GPS unit and needs a cable will any of the camera/MP3 standard USB cables work for this item or is this sort of a proprietary cable? Thanks.

Its the regular "mini" USB connector.

Keep in mind there is also a newer "micro" USB connector out now. But I think its pretty much only used in cell phones. Many new LG's and Motorolas have it.

Yes for the Garmin series for certain.

It is a mini USB on the Garmin. Which of course wasn't included, but I already had one for our HDD video camera. Tomtom includes them I believe.
