Yeah, one person here fell for it. She was actually kind of pissed at first before she tried it. "How am I going to tell it to staple, this is stupid, why can't they just leave stuff alone, it was working fine" lol

THIS is how you pull a proper April Fools day joke.

Sir, thank you.

Everyone else, you are just spider monkeys jerking off.

It's a list of voice commands for the printer.

The problem is that this joke doesn't make any sense. I'm supposed to print a document from something like Adobe PDF, walk over the printer, then yell at the printer? That's actually more of a hassle than the old way of printing where I don't need to yell at it.

I tried this at my office, but nobody was dumb enough to fall for it. Downside of working on a floor with other IT people.

the copy and scan functions make more "sense" in this example

Nope, still too much of a pain. The old way is:
-select auto darken and contrast suppress
-set DPI
-set quality
-go to recipient list and select my name
-hit green button

New prank way is
-select auto darken and contrast suppress
-set DPI
-set quality
-go to recipient list and select my name
-YELL AT THE MACHINE

Double win! Got a couple secretaries to fall for it, then when someone else told them it was an obvious prank, they immediately thought the copy center guys were behind it, so they called them up and had them drive over to fix the "broken" machine. Copy center guys had no idea where the posters came from.

Hahaha... it's always funnier when it results in wasted natural resources!

Can someone link the Xerox image here? I can see the image in the OP but the link is blocked. Thanks!

The link has pics already pre-made for nearly all manufacturers :D

Crap...at work, that linky no worky . I should have used the direct out line and saved myself some time lol.

Good timing though with this though, apparently a lot of people have tried it today, since our Xerox repair dude was here the last 2 days fixing something.
