Quick-change drill bits

Are the quick-change drill bits, driver bits and holders from different tool manufacturers compatible with each another? I have a Bosch "Clic-change" chuck and a small set of Bosch drill bits and was wondering if other bits will fit the chuck. Is it all just 1/4" hex shanks with a cutout?

Afaik, yes.

Sorry, I can't answer the question, but I am posting because I am curious as well. I always avoided these kind of kits because I assumed they were proprietary, and my impact (M18 Fuel) allows me to just push in any old 1/4" hex bit and I am good to go.

All of the quick change bits I have seen have been the standard 1/4" hex.
