quick casefan question

i currently have my other computer taken apart and i'm rebuilding it. if i have 2 case fans in the front of my case, with the label on them facing towards the front of the case, will they blow air out of the case or suck it in? i forgot which way i need to have them :\ are the labels on all fans universal as to which way the air goes?

just power em up and check. the front ones should blow into the case.

If the blades are curved that's the best way to tell. They'll curve towards the direction the air will blow.

i know which way they should go, but i can't power them up yet. i'm gonna put everything together before putting the power supply in. does the air blow towards the side with the label on it?

Honestly, I've never checked. Like I said, I just check which way the blades of the fan are curved.

it varies, some fan manufacturers change them up, but usually the picture side is the side is the "push" side of the fan.

Usually the air does flow toward the side with the label.

Right, so if you're mounting them on the front of the case, you want them to be sucking in, therefore you will actually see the label from the inside of the case.

no, you won't see the label side from the inside of the case. your fans in the back of your system (by the psu) will have the label side where you can see it from inside your case.
