quick bittorent question

i have 128k upload, so whenever i try and download something and it connects to all the seeds, it uploads around 10KB of information at all times and this kills my download speed ALOT, were talking dialup speed for some reason. are there any clients out there that limit the information sent to other comps to 0? i am using the burst! client btw.

While I think you really shouldn't limit UL, it is a problem for those with small pipes. For those I'd recommend smething like netlimiter

use azureus and set the upload lomit to 0 or like 1k/s

i set mine to 10k/s and i DL at over 300k/s

My bit torrent ratio is .44 right now, which means I don't upload half of what I download, and I feel cheap about that, I wouldn't want to leech and not give, especially because they're all MST3K fans, and that's like a family.

But those uploads kill my download speed too, kind of a PITA.

I limit the uplaod with bitcomet.... I have 128 up too and limit it to 7k

Azureus + Limit upload.

I choke mine down during the day or when I'm doing gaming and need all the ping advantage I can get, but at night I just open the floodgates. 😀
