quick...anyone with win2k please post your boot.ini settings

i need the info inside a boot.ini file for win2k withou a mutli os boot. im tired of seeing that stupid boot loader when i dont have win98 anymore.

Try right-clicking on My Computer, going to Properties, then Advanced>Startup and Recovery...>UNcheck "Display list..." and select your default OS.

Otherwise, try deleting the line with win98 in it in your boot.ini. Refer to this article

If it helps any, myne (2k installed on c: - only partition/physical drive):

thanx ladi!

i knew that option was there, i just wanted to make sure that the boot.ini file was rid of all the junk from the previous os's....also...is there any way to eliminate the extra recycling bin for the root drive. i have a folder and the actuall bin as icons. inside the folder lies a bin icon as well. so far you have been the one to help me out the most...kudos to you girlfriend ;)
