Just need some quick input here guys. Just bought a Sharp 46" LC-46D65U yesterday at BB for $899. I use it solely as a computer monitor and have noticed that with the Dot By Dot setting it produces unwanted noise and jagged edges around onscreen graphics, as well as really mauls 720p video (a mainstay around here). Upon further inspection, BB has a 40" Samsung LN40B550K1FXZA 40" for the same price (or lower). Is it worth the step down in size for the step up (im assuming) in PQ?
 
The samsung will be a better display all aound. the 65u sharps are pretty bad. the newest sharps like the 77u are much better. (they even knocked off samsungs curved bottom on some of the sets).
