quick 3.3v question

hey guys,
i have an asus a7v. i know that its 3.3v agp. right now i have a voodoo 3/3500 in it. what is the newest card i can use on this board, probably a voodoo 5/5500? i am not quite ready to give up my old trusty machine yet.

Generally most 4x agp cards will have no problem in that board. The problem occurs when people put the 3.3volt cards in some of the newer 1.5volt agp motherboards. I have recently installed a Radeon 9000 in an old P3 500 machine, no problems.

Its a 4x compatible board, so any 4x compatible card should work fine.

To my understanding any card that works at 1/2/4x will work and any card that even works at 4/8x because they can each work with the 4x interface and thats what the A7V has (the 266A or 333 chipset regardless) So you could technically put a 9800XT in there i believe.
