Hi guys .. So for my next build I'm going for an i5 4690, to be used with the Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H motherboard.
I have two questions:
1) Will the two aforementioned components be compatible with each other, because I heard that some H97 boards (or those equally older) aren't all compatible with the 4th gen CPUs .. Also on Amazon's selling page, only Z97 and Z87 boards are explicitly mentioned to be compatible with this processor.
2) Does this board support AHCI mode in its BIOS ? This is because I intend to use an SSD.

Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz DDR RAM
Corsair VS450 PSU
SanDisk 240G Extreme Pro SSD
LG Blu-ray Burner
