Hey everyone. I just recently bought an Epox EP-8KDA3J and plan to overclock it, which brought up two issues. First of all, I've heard that the stock passive northbridge cooler basically sucks, so I bought a Microcool Northpole to help out with that. I'm not really sure how to remove the stock cooler with no retention mechanism, though. Do I just pull it? I'm afraid that I would end up ripping off the northbridge chip. Any safe way of removing the stock cooler?
My second question has to do with BIOS revisions. Which one is the best so far for the EP-8KDA3J as far as stable voltage goes. I've heard that many of the BIOSes undervolt pretty badly, so are there any out that give the right voltage?
Thanks,
