Questions for Ken Levine or Chris Taylor?

Whats up guys!

Ok, so we scored two really great developers for guest spots on the show. This is pretty huge for us -so we're really jazzed! For those that are not aware, Chris Taylor is the lead designer on Supreme Commander over at Gas Powered Games, and Ken Levine is the lead on Bioshock over at Irrational Games.

Tonight we're interviewing Chris Tayor and tomorrow Ken Levine (two seperate shows).

The reason I'm posting this is because we're taking questions from the gaming community and will pose the best and most interesting ones to them on the air.

So, anyone got any questions for either one about the industry, their respective games, or anything else gmaing related?

*02-14-07 UPDATE*

We wrapped both interviews. Ken Levine's interview will go up tonight around 5PM PST. The Chris Taylor interview will go up next week. Both interviews will about one hour in length. I know I'm a bit biased here, but both interviews went extremely well and cover a very wide range of topics.

Chris Taylor of Fallout? Tell him to get his ass to Bethesda and work on Fallout 3.

I'm not aware that he worked in Fallout. Something tells me he didnt. Check Moby (it's blocked here at work).

I think Christopher Taylor was part of the Interplay Fallout team, and this interview is with the Chris Taylor who was responsible for Total Annihilation.

For Chris Taylor:

*Is an expansion planned for Supreme Commander? If so what can we expect?

*When can we expect the mod tools for Supreme commander to be released?

uh, in that case, ask him if he's the same Chris Taylor that worked on Fallout 🙂

Seconded. About all I care about. 😛

And of course "What's next?" 😛

Ok, the Chris Taylor interview went over really really well. I can't wait for you guys to hear it. It actually ran over an hour.

Tonight is the Ken Levine interview -anyone have any question for him concerning BioShock?

the game's not out yet and you're wonderign about an expansion already?

ask them why they keep re-doing old games instead of new and innovative games?

For Ken Levine, regarding Bioshock: Can we expect something like System Shock 2, with more focus on exploration/puzzles/story, or will it be consolized into a simplistic monster-a-second shootfest with giant glowing ammo/health packs placed every five feet apart?

😕

Ask who? The entire god damn games industry? Don't be such a hater. IMHO SupCom is one of the more innovative games out right now. It may not be revolutionary, but it certainly breaks away from the norm.

I can answer that right now -It's going to be more like SS2.
