does MS plan to release a smaller form factor of the xbox, like what sony did with the PSOne?

if not, is there a chance xbox would hit the $100 mark within the year? around what time of the year are price drops rumored or expected?

There was rumors going around early last year. The earliest you might see something like that is probably E3. (the smaller form factor XBox I mean)

The $100 price mark seems doubtful - $149 or maybe even $129 is more like it, but a $80 price drop is pretty stupid.
