Right now the Group Policy is set to:

Configure Auto Updates: Enabled
Auto Dl and install Every Day @ 3am

Specify Update site: Enabled
http://WSUS server

No Auto Restart: Enabled

Enabled Recommended Updates Via Auto Update: Enabled


Right now 2 days in a row I was prompted to install updates. I want updates to install automatically to all machines. This is occuring to people with local admin access.

Why isn't it auto installing? Am I missing something somewhere. I have checked the registry of a few machines and the settings duplicate what is in GP.
 
Did you wait until 3am? It will download the updates and then wait until 3am to auto install. But in the meantime, you will be able to manually install them if you are an admin.
 
Well it happened yesturday morning, unless a new set of updates were published between then and now. Our WSUS sever is set to allow all updates as of now.
