For all the tinkering I've done with computers, I've never soldered or done anything close to a volt mod. I saw snowpunks voltmod instructions awhile ago when I first got my epox board, and I think I want to give it a shot now.
I just have a couple questions, like what the hell is heatshrink and what kind of stores carry it. I figure my local electronics store can help me get a resistor, right? I hope they have those ez hook clips as well, because I'd really like to try this method before I solder anything directly onto my motherboard.
Must be gettin bored, and I hope I don't destroy my mobo in search of that extra 50 mhz. If anyone has a nice tip for making a volt mod, I'd like to hear it. Thanks
