Hello, I'm considering upgrading to R7 260X from 5770. I have 2 questions:

1) My CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4 955. Will my CPU bottleneck R7 260X?
2) My mobo is an antique GA-MA785GMT-UD2H. Will this graphics card work with my motherboard?

Thanks!

1) No, it shouldn't. 260X is slow enough that a decent quad core CPU like yours shouldn't have much trouble feeding it in most situations.
2) Yes, it should.

You have a decent CPU especially if you overclock it. I guess you don't game otherwise I'd recommend a R9 270X.

I would just get a used 6950 and unlock to 6970 or a GTX 560 TI.

260X is a pretty slow card for what it's going for new.

Even a GTX 460 is an upgrade from a 5770, overclock the 460 and I wouldn't be surprised if it performs near the 260x.
