First off, how is the sound level? Is it as horribly low as in the original Macbooks?

Second, is the battery removable? If so, is it compatible with current Macbook batteries (i have 2 extras that i purchased).

Third, how is the heat? Is it better, worst, or the same as the current Macbooks?

1: Louder
2: Yes it is removable, no it is not compatible.
3: From what I have read, less heat.

ARGH, so the battery is not compatible? WTF

What a waste. I spent way too much money on my current set of batteries. I don't care if the colors don't match, but that's so disappointing.

Hmm now i'm not too sure if i want it. I have it in my cart right this moment, and am about to pull the trigger, but i so need the extra batteries.

Yes, my DVD player in my current Macbook doesn't work (not a huge deal, since i rarely rarely use it)

My Macbook is pre-Santa Rosa, so it can't handle 4GB ram.

And heat, i like to work in bed, and the current Macbook can get pretty hot on my stomach.

I know i don't NEED a new Macbook, but it just looks so sweet. It's not like i'll be throwing away my current Macbook, i'll probably give it to my dad or something.
