Questions about sharing DSL with 2 computers...

I recently ordered RADSL and I have to share that connection between 2 computers. The package I ordered comes with 2 Static IPs. I currently have a fast ethernet network up and runnin with 2 computers on it, boith runnining win98. The NICs are 10/100.

My question is, how do I set it up with the 2 static IPs so bnoth comps will be on the same connection?

Also, what is the advantages/disadvantages of using static IPs vs. dynamic IPs for sharing DSL llines?

THanks!

dsl line plugs into the modem... which plugs into the hub. thats all you need. as long as you have 2 IPs you don't have to mess around with routers and stuff.

static IP : you are issued a specific IP address for you to keep. So, if you plan to run
a web server, this is a MUST.

dynamic IP: your DSL provider/ISP provider will isssue you an IP address for certain amount
of time before it changes. Can't register your web address with dynamic IP since it changes
so often...
