Questions about setup

Recently I just purchased the Logitech Z-2300 series speakers and am looking to hook them up to my Vizio tv, my PS3 and my Labtop. However, there's one problem, I currently run an HDMI cable from my ps3 to the television, which takes care of sound and visual. my question is, how do i hook everything up successfully so that i can use this new sound system with the three electronics listed above.

Any additional cables, switches or anythign else of that matter? Im honestly lost. Any help would be appreciated.

Your speakers should have come with a "game console adapter" , which turns the green plug from the wired remote into 2 rca connectors. With these 2 rca connectors, you would need 2 rca cables to connect the speakers to the rca outputs on your tv.

Once you have the speaker connected to the tv, you need to go to your tv, and find the audio menu, and turn off the tv's speakers. Sound should now be comming out of the Z-2300 speakers.

I don't believe you can have them hooked up to your laptop and tv/ps3 at the same time. You'll have to switch between hooking up the tv/ps3 and the laptop, unless you buy a receiver or some sort of switcher device
