Are they any good?

How are the screens? (specifically, wuxga)

I've heard some horror stories about battery life, are they true?

On the 5680 models, is there a secondary battery bay?

Can I purchase a car Adapter that will work with the notebook?

Are they built well? (are they of good quality>?)

The horror styles you likely heard relate to the 3.2Ghz desktop P4s. Supposedly they can't make it past the first hour on batteries.

From what i have heard, battery life is not too great, but the built quality is decent.

A car adapter can be purchased for just about any notebook. The Sager laptops are excellent machines, and I would not hesitate to recommend or purchase one.

I have a Sager 5130 that I bought in September 1999, and have worked flawlessly until recently. The monitor is starting to flicker, but I am looking into it. :)

I have a Clevo D500P (Eurocom D500P) the same as Sager 5680 it think (?) the battery life is not good, but not bad...about two hours, but long enough for anything that I have ever done. The build quality is excellent, the UXGA screen on mine is sooo awesome I just can't stop looking at it, honestly, I have never seen any screen so clear on any laptop, or LCP panel...ever. I really love my laptop, it rocks, especially the screen combined with the Radeon M10 video

You've got an awesome laptop, dude. I had the 5670 and I can only imagine how much kicker-ass yours is. :)

Thanks, it's the first time I actually I went all-out when buying a computer, I was sick of being cheap and ending up saying "i was would have spent more". It cost me all my savings, but it was what I was saving for, so I am more than happy with it. I don't regret spending the money at all.
