Questions about running dual displays on a GeForce 6150se

I have an onboard 6150se with one vga output. I bought a vga splitter to send the display signal to dual monitors (Acer 22" and Westinhouse 36"). The splitter works as I can see an image on both monitors, however I was wondering if it's possible to use the monitors separately. For example on my main rig I'm using an 8800gt across a Dell 24" and a Sharp 32", Vista recognizes both displays simultaneously and I can move projects in between the screens. I can't do that with 6150, is it a limitation of the card or do I have to tweak a setting somewhere to enable it?

a splitter is just a way of sending a duplicate signal to two different displays. If your card does NOT have two connectors in the back for displays it wont do what you need it to.

These days its very cheap to get one that will...
