If I wanted to remotely boot another computer off the same network or the internet, how / what would be needed to accomplish this?

I believe that you will need an ethernet card with the apropriate Boot ROM.
(I could be completly wrong though)

WinXP Pro, I know how to do with a Linux box but not sure with XP.
