Questions about power supply importance.

Bought a Duron and A7V, new HD, CD-ROM, blah blah blah. How important is the PS? I have a 250w PS that came with my Enlight Mid Tower Case. I know the case is a solid, high quality case, but is the PS gonna give me problems?

Theres one way to find out....... I have two t-birds systems one with cheap psu and one with a kick a#s psu and they both work just fine.

My brother has an enlight case with a 250watt ps and he has had it running for about two years and has'nt had a problem yet. He is running dual celerons but I dont think that would make that big of difference. Just thought I would drop you a line and tell you a little about the reliability. I think you will be okay unless you add a bunch of aux. fans and drives.

well, once I receive all of it, I will have the following:

Asus A7V
Maxtor 15gig 7200 rpm ATA100
Creative TNT2 Ultra AGP
Sound Blaster Live Value
Diamond Supra Max PCI Modem
Global Win FP-32 HS/F

Will probably re-install my extra case fan on the back exhaust vent as well.

I don't think that i'll oc it right away, as i'm sure i'll be very satisfied with the "stock" performance jump over my old celeron 366. But I might eventually, just to see what it can do.

3HD=90 gigs- I love Porn .....yeah my old 2.1 gig WD Caviar and even older 4.5 Seagate aren't quite cutting it either....
