I am working on building a new gaming machine and would like anyones opinion about the PSU wattage to use for this build. The components being used are as follows:
Case: Antec Nine Hundred
Motherboard: ASUS P5K3 DELUXE/WIFI-AP
Video Card x2: MSI NX8800Ultra-T2D768E-HD-OC
Processor: Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 Conroe 2.93GHz (May hold out for a new Penryn)
Memory x2: Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1375
Hard Drives x2: Update Western Digital Raptor WD1500ADFD 150GB 10,000 RPM
DVD ROM: LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Home Premium
Considering this PSU, but concerned it about quietness and effectiveness:
Thermaltake Toughpower W0132RU ATX12V / EPS12V 1000W
Any other comments or suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks for the insite.
