hey, new member here, and I hope this is the correct forum for this but this is the computer i'm looking to buy and I was wondering about a couple things perhaps someone could answer for me
3.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 6MB Cache FSB 1333
Thermaltake Quiet TR2 M21 RX A4021 18dBA
GIGABYTE GA-X48-DQ6 (Intel X48 , 3xPCIEx, 8-Channel Audio, LAN, 8xSATA2, 1394, 1333FSB)
4GB (2GBx2) PC6400 DDR2 800Mhz Memory Lifetime Warranty
500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA300
20X Samsung SH-S202G Dual Layer DVD+/-RW/CDRW w/Nero
512MB ATI Radeon HD4870 GDDR5 PCI Express DVI/Tvout
Foxconn Black FX-776 (4 5.25, 6 3.5 bays) 2 Fans, Front Audio/USB
1000watt Antec TruePower Quattro TPQ-1000
about $1300
will this run current and upcoming PC games at max settings? (1920x1200 max AA etc)
can this mobo run two ATI cards in crossfire mode? (say 2 4870x2 2gb)
is the power supply enough for those two cards if it could?
could I upgrade to a quad core extreme CPU later on if I wanted or would that use a different mobo with a different cpu slot? (say the QX9770)
last but not least, whats a decent priced good monitor with a 1920x1200 supported resolution?
i dont know much about all the newest technologies available, but I know someone here can probably help me out
any other advice or suggestions would be very welcome as well
thanks
